Alpha

We are pleased to announce that a new Alpha Course started on 17th January, we enjoyed a tasty meal of vegetable curry and pinneapple chicken whilst the new group got to know a little bit about each other. After we explored the topic for the evening which was based around the question 'Is there more to life than this'. It's not too late to join the the Alpha Course. The Alpha Course is aimed at anyone who is thinking through big questions of life such as 'what is the purpose of life?' 'What happens when I die?' Alpha brings help with these questions by examining the claims of Christianity.

The Alpha evening begins at 6.30pm with a meal. This gives you an opportunity to get to know the other people on the course as well as those running it. At 7.30pm there is a presentation to set out the topic for the evening. Then we have discussion groups when people can share experiences, questions and doubts. The evening finishes around 9pm.

The course runs for 10 weeks, but there is opportunity to continue the spiritual journey with the church after course if you wish.
